Service animals that accompany disabled persons are accepted on board free of charge. Currently Copa Airlines only accepts seeing-eye guide dogs and some types of monkeys on board.

To comply with security regulations, service animals should sit in the floor space in front of the customer's assigned seat without protruding into the aisles. Exit row seating is prohibited.

Documentation is required for animals traveling to international destinations.
