Copa Airlines operates one of the most modern fleets in the world, consisting of Boeing 737-700 and 800 aircraft and Embraer 190ARs. The Boeing 737-700 planes are configured with 124 seats, 12 in Business Class and 112 in the main cabin.

 

Boeing

Copa Airlines has a fleet of modern Boeing 737-700 and Boeing 737-800. Both aircraft models are equipped with high-capacity overhead storage bins, and a state of the art on-board entertainment system. Our planes are also equipped with high-tech “winglets” that greatly improve their performance, making them more efficient, more quietly and reducing fuel consumption up to 3.5%. In addition, the winglets help the environment by reducing noise and pollution.

Embraer 190AR

In recent years, Copa Airlines added the modern Embraer 190AR aircraft to its fleet. The EMB 190 features the latest advances in technology, such as winglets; efficient, powerful General Electric CF34-10E engines; and the latest in Honeywell Corporation aviation equipment. The addition of this plane to Copa's fleet allows the airline to balance capacity and demand in smaller markets that are served more efficiently with a 94-seat aircraft.

Blended Winglet Technology

Copa was the first airline in Latin America to operate the Boeing 737-700 and -800 aircraft with this groundbreaking technology. Winglets improve aircraft performance and increase flight efficiency, reducing fuel consumption by 3.5%. In addition, winglets help the environment by reducing noise and pollution.

VSD Technology

Copa is the first airline in America to utilize Vertical Situation Display (VSD) and the Enhanced Ground Proximity Warning system on all its airplanes. These sophisticated tools give the pilot a clear picture of the airplane's flight path, calculating its altitude, speed and position, and displaying the information in integrated, easy-to-interpret graphics.
