Privileges and Benefits of the OnePass Elite Program

The privileges and benefits of the OnePass Elite program were designed especially for frequent flyers. Elite members receive:

  • Courtesy upgrades for a traveling companion (does not apply for Silver Elite)
  • Priority airport check-in
  • Priority boarding and bag check

Membership in the OnePass Elite program is based on the number of paid flight miles or segments traveled in a calendar year (January 1 to December 21) on flights operated by Continental Airlines, Copa Airlines, Aero República and OnePass program partners.

Earning Miles with OnePass

To earn miles, OnePass members simply provide (or enter) their OnePass account number when making a reservation at any Copa sales outlet or at the airport counter check-in. All miles earned are automatically deposited to your account, whether you travel on Continental Airlines, Copa Airlines, AeroRepública, or a partner airline.

 

Minimum Miles: OnePass members automatically receive the actual number of miles flown or a minimum of 500 miles per flight segment.

 

Fare class and Elite level bonuses: As of March 1, 2009, OnePass Elite mileage bonuses will change to 25%, 100% and 100% for Silver, Gold and Platinum levels, respectively. 

 

Free baggage allowance policies for OnePass Elite, Silver, Gold and Platinum members
OnePass Elite, Silver, Gold and Platinum members have a new free baggage allowance policies for Business Class and for OnePass Silver, Gold, and Platinum Elite members. These changes take effect starting on December 7, 2009.

Please see below for more information on the new policy:
  • OnePass Silver Elite members may check up to two (2) pieces of baggage, each weighing a maximum of 70 lbs (32 kg), without incurring additional fees.
   
 
  • OnePass Platinum and Gold Elite members may check up to three (3) pieces of baggage, each weighing a maximum of 70 lbs (32 kg), without incurring additional fees.
   
   
 
  • The combined linear dimensions requirement has not changed. In other words, each piece may have a maximum size of 62 linear inches (157 cm; length + width + height).
  • Pieces measuring between 63 (160 cm) and 107 (272 cm) linear inches will be considered excess baggage.
  • Please note that pieces whose combined dimensions exceed 107 linear inches (272 cm) will only be accepted for transport as cargo.
