1. How do I enroll in the OnePass frequent flyer program?

To join, simply go to OnePass.com, complete the enrollment form and print your membership confirmation.

Present your OnePass number whenever you fly with Copa or any of our partner airlines, and earn miles on every trip.

2. Can children enroll in the OnePass frequent flyer program?

Yes, OnePass accepts members age 2 or older.

3. How can I find out how many OnePass miles I have in my account?
Log on to OnePass.com using your account number and PIN. Here you can:

 

  • View your account status.
  • Update your account information.
  • Change your PIN or password.
  • Print a copy of your OnePass card.
  • Discover more ways to earn miles.
  • Learn more about Elite status eligibility.
  • Sign up to receive your online statement via e-mail.

4. What is a PIN and what does it do?

Your personal identification number (PIN) is unique to your account and is the key to all your online transactions. Without it, you cannot book reward travel, change your personal information or otherwise access your account online. It is an important privacy safeguard and should never be revealed online or over the phone to anyone other than a Copa Airlines representative.

5. How can I retrieve my PIN if I don't know it or have forgotten it?

You can request your PIN:

 

  • Online at OnePass.com;
  • By calling the OnePass Service Center where you will be provided with your PIN after answering several personal questions to verify your identity;
  • Via fax for a charge of $35, which must be paid by credit card.

6. How can I change my PIN number?

Change your PIN:

Online at OnePass.com
By phone or in person at the OnePass Service Center, where you must present identification and provide your old PIN if known. Processing fees apply.

7. How can I update the mailing address on my OnePass account?

You can update all your account information at OnePass.com or by calling the OnePass Service Center.

8. How can I be assured that the miles corresponding to my trip will be credited to my OnePass account?

You must provide your OnePass number every time you make a reservation and verify at the airport check-in counters that it appears on your boarding pass.

We recommend that you keep your ticket and boarding pass in case of any questions or complaints you might have in the future. All requests for missing mileage credit need to be made within six months of your trip.

9. I forgot to provide my OnePass number at the time of travel. How can I get those miles credited to my account?

The OnePass program accepts requests for missing mileage credit within six months of the date of travel. You must supply your boarding passes and ticket receipt. Both documents are required for processing.

Deposit these documents in the OnePass mailbox located in any Copa Airlines office or partner office.

If you join the program following your flight, you may redeem miles flown a up to a month prior, or up to six months for a charge of US$25.

10. Is it possible to combine miles from different OnePass accounts?

OnePass miles are not transferable from one account to another, nor can they be negotiated, sold or exchanged.

It is possible, however, to issue a reward ticket in the name of a person other than the OnePass account holder who earned the miles. After the ticket is issued, it may not be transferred to another person; miles must be re-deposited in the account to issue a new ticket.

11. Is it possible to transfer miles from one account to another?

Yes, you can transfer miles from one account to another in increments of 500 miles without limit. You must transfer a minimum of 2,500 miles. Transfer of miles must occur between two accounts only. A service charge of US$7.50 for every 500 miles will apply.

Allow 7 - 10 days for the transfer to be complete. OnePass members may donate or receive miles but they cannot do both.
Miles transferred into an account do not count toward Elite status qualification.

Members are limited to one transfer per calendar year, using their account number and PIN, together with the account number of the recipient. Transfers and service charges are neither refundable nor reversible. Payment by credit card only.


12. Do OnePass miles expire?

OnePass miles do not expire.

13. How can I replace my OnePass card if lost?

You can print your card at OnePass.com

Only members who have achieved Elite status will receive official cards; these are issued automatically once the necessary miles are acquired. Your card should arrive 4 – 6 weeks after qualifying for Elite status.

14. How many miles do I need for a reward ticket?

You will find a reward travel chart at OnePass.com indicating the necessary miles for reward tickets. You may also call the OnePass Service Center for information.

15. How do I redeem my miles for OnePass rewards?

Call the Copa Airlines reservation center at least 21 days before the date you wish to travel.

You may also reserve reward tickets at OnePass.com.

Charges for reward tickets vary depending on how many days in advance the travel request is made:

 

  • Days preceding departure.
  • More than 21 days.
  • Between 15 – 20 days.
  • Between 4 – 15 day.
  • 3 days or less.

You will be required to provide your OnePass number and PIN.

16. What happens if I cannot use the reward ticket after I've redeemed it?

Reward tickets are valid for a period of one year after date of issue.

During this period, changes can be made to the reward ticket for an additional charge, based on your OnePass account status at the time the ticket was issued.

You may also re-deposit the miles in your account before the year is up for a fee of US$150 for Elite Gold, Silver and non-Elite members. OnePass Platinum Elite members may re-deposit miles free of charge.


17. Can I buy the miles I need to redeem a reward ticket?

You may buy up to 25% of the miles needed for any OnePass reward ticket, redeemable for a minimum of 20,000 miles.

Miles may be purchased in increments of 1,000 miles for US$32. These miles are non-refundable.

Not available in advance, miles may be purchased while processing your reward ticket.


18. Can I change the travel dates or routing of a reward ticket?

The following charges apply to all OnePass reward travel modifications: US$150 for Gold, Silver and non-Elite members. No charges apply to changes for OnePass Platinum Elite members.

Changes are restricted to routes corresponding to the reward travel.


19. What is required to achieve Elite status?

OnePass members earn and maintain Elite status based on Elite Qualification Miles or Elite Qualification Points earned in a calendar year. Elite level is valid from the moment you attain the required mileage. When you qualify for a higher Elite level, the system will upgrade your status automatically once you meet any of the requirements.

20. Do all miles count equally toward Elite status qualification?

21. Does my membership with another frequent flyer program qualify for OnePass Elite status?

 

With Elite Match, members of other frequent flyer programs receive status equal to the corresponding Elite OnePass level on participating airlines. You must provide proof of your frequent flyer status in any Copa Airlines office with the following documents:

 

  • Name and OnePass number.
  • A clear, legible and valid photocopy of your frequent flyer membership card indicating the level of status achieved.
  • A clear, legible photocopy of your most recent account statement reflecting the qualifying requirements of the other airline.

Alternately, you may send a scanned color copy of the necessary documents to onepass@copaair.com.

 Within 10 days, Copa Airlines will process your application and notify you of your new OnePass status.
