1. Where do I find specials on airfare?

You will find a complete list of airfare specials in our Web Deals section.

2. How do I use my Copa Airlines coupon?
When making a reservation, enter the promotional code on your coupon in the appropriate field.
3. Can I reserve a one-way flight?

Yes, select the option "One-way only" when initiating the reservation process.

4. Can I reserve a trip with stops in more than one city?
Yes, select the option "Multiple destinations" when booking your reservation at copaair.com.
5. What is meant by "flexible dates" or "lowest fare +/- 3 days"?

If you don't need to travel on specific dates, this option allows you to find the lowest fares to your destination. The system will search flights 3 days before and 3 days after the selected date.

6. Can I make a reservation and pay for it later?

Only certain types of reservations may be placed on hold at copaair.com. If you chose this option, your reservation will be held for 48 hours.

Fare restrictions dictate that some reservations may be held only until 11:59 pm EST that same day.

7. Does the number of passengers flying influence the fare?

Yes, larger groups may find that a lower fare is not available due to a lack of seats in that fare class.

8. Why will some flights not display the number of available seats?

The system only shows the number of available seats when it is equal to the number of passengers included on the reservation.

9. Why is the departure/arrival date provided different from the one I wish to reserve?

It could be that Copa Airlines does not operate flights to the selected destination on your preferred dates of travel, or that there are no seats remaining on those flights.

 

10. How far in advance can I reserve a flight?

You can reserve flights on copaair.com a maximum of 330 days in advance of the departure date, and a minimum of 24 hours before the flight.

11. How many flight segments can I include on one reservation?

With the "Multiple destinations" option, you can select a limited number of segments.

12. How many passengers can I include on one reservation?

At copaair.com you may include up to 8 passengers on a reservation. If you wish to book travel for more than 8 passengers, you must repeat the process and make two reservations.

If you plan to book travel for 10 or more people, inquire at a Copa Airlines office about our special fares and group discounts.

13. Why does my reservation say the flight is "operated" by another airline?

Some flights to and from Colombia are operated by our partner airline AeroRepublica.

14. Can I reserve flights on other airlines at copaair.com?

Here you will find flights operated by Copa Airlines and AeroRepublica, although in some cases you may find Continental Airlines code share flights.

15. May I book a flight for another person?

Yes, to book a flight for another person, simply fill out the Passenger information section with their details.

16. Can I change my itinerary while in the process of making a reservation?

Yes, click "Start over".

17. How can I find the reservation that I placed on hold?

You'll find your saved reservations under "My trips". Enter your 6-digit reservation code to access it.

You may also contact a Copa Airlines ticket office to complete your purchase. Please be aware that there may be an additional charge for booking your ticket with a sales representative.
