Executives from both airlines were present at an event to showcase the program, including Copa Airlines CEO Pedro Heilbron and Continental Airlines Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean John Slater. Other Copa executives present included Joe Mohan, Commercial and Planning Vice President; Adolfo Sen, Sales Director, and Alina Espino, Manager of Corporate Accounts. Continental executives included Robert St John, Regional Director for Panama and the Andean Region; and Ana Lorena Araya, General Manager, Panama.
During the event, Continental Airlines presented the new plans, services and products that corporate customers can access now that the airline is a member of Star Alliance -- for example, more than 19,500 daily flights to approximately 1,071 airports in 171 countries in the world; more opportunities to earn miles, reward tickets and Elite status in the OnePass frequent-flyer program; plus the new lie-flat seats and menus in BusinessFirst.
Copa Airlines presented the new Corporate Program, designed to meet the needs of the market and segmented into three different levels, each with its respective benefits for its corporate customers. Benefits include discounts, access to Presidents Clubs, upgrades, priority check-in and boarding, special discounts at Copa Vacations, ability to earn OnePass miles and Elite status through Continental's entry into the global Star Alliance. Now, every corporate traveler will receive more benefits than ever.
