Bogotá, June 27, 2012 -- Copa Airlines and Copa Airlines Colombia both subsidiaries of Copa Holdings, S.A {NYSE: CPA}, announce the start of their new nonstop service between Panama and Las Vegas (United States). This flight will travel between Las Vegas and the Hub of the Americas in Panama five times per week, and will provide convenient connections to Bogota, Medellin, and Cali.

Las Vegas is the seventh city where Copa Airlines operates in the United States and is one of five new destinations launched in 2012, thus becoming Latin America's fastest growing airline.

"Flying from Colombia and Latin America to Las Vegas is now possible. This explains why Copa Airlines Colombia's goal is to boost bilateral trade and tourism by increasing the number of connections to international destinations, thus improving our customers and passengers' traveling experience. By opening this new route, Colombia will be linked to an attractive destination for business that also boasts mass touristic appeal and is known as a major convention and entertainment center," said Eduardo Lombana, President of Copa Airlines Colombia.

The flight will depart from the new Terminal 3 at McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 5:23 am, and will arrive at 2:22 pm at Tocumen International Airport in Panama, the Hub of the Americas of Copa Airlines. The return flight will depart Panama on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays at 9:26 am, and will land in Las Vegas at 2:02 p.m. The flight will be operated by Next Generation Boeing 737-800 aircraft with 16-passenger seating in Business Class and 144 in the main cabin.

From the Hub of the Americas in Panama, Copa Airlines Colombia passengers will have quick and convenient connections to destinations throughout Latin America and the Caribbean. Copa Airlines offers flights to more international destinations than any other hub in Latin America. From the US, Copa Airlines offers nonstop service to Panama from Miami, New York, Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Orlando, and Chicago.

Between June and July, Copa Airlines will begin its service from Panama to five new destinations: Recife, Brazil, Guanacaste, Costa Rica, Las Vegas, NV, Curacao, Netherlands Antilles, and Iquitos, Peru, to complete its service to 64 destinations in 29 countries.

The service offered aboard by Copa Airlines consists of complimentary food and beverages, including wine and spirits, an audiovisual entertainment system with 12 channels in English, Spanish, and Portuguese, new movies every month, and free headphones. Flight attendants are bilingual.

The airline operates with one of the youngest and modern fleets of the industry and its 90% punctuality ranks it among the best in the world. When visiting copaair.com, passengers have options to purchase tickets in US dollars or in one of nearly ten other currencies, and may also earn mileage points through the MileagePlus frequent flyer program we share with our partner United Airlines.
