Asuncion, Paraguay, October 25, 2011 - Copa Airlines announced that it will begin new service from Asuncion to Panama and connecting destinations on Dec. 16.
The flight will depart Asuncion at 2:27 a.m., on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, arriving in Panama at 6:44 a.m. The return flight will depart Panama at 3:38 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, arriving in Asuncion at 11:42 p.m. Copa will operate the flight with a Boeing Next-Generation 737-700 aircraft, with capacity for 12 passengers in Business Class and 112 in the main cabin. On-board service includes an audio-video system.
The new flight will facilitate immediate connections through Copa Airlines' Hub of the Americas in Panama to all the Spanish-speaking countries in Latin America, as well as to 11 cities in the Caribbean and seven in North America.
