Following the merger between Continental Airlines and United Airlines, Copa Airlines and United Airlines will continue the close commercial alliance existing since 1998 to maintain the wide range of benefits which they offer to passengers in the Americas and the world.

Copa Airlines and United Airlines will work closely to develop a unified and standard service and product. Through Copa Airlines' Hub of the Americas in Panama, passengers of both airlines can quickly and comfortably connect to and between major cities in Latin America.

For the convenience of its passengers, Copa Airlines runs an elegant Copa Club in alliance with United at Tocumen International Airport in Panama City, at Las Americas International Airport in Santo Domingo and at La Aurora International Airport in Guatemala City.

Founded in 1934, Aeromexico (, and Copa Airlines have created a code sharing agreement that offers code-share connecting flights through Copa Airlines' Hub of the Americas and connect all of Latin America with many key destinations throughout all of Mexico.

KLM Royal Dutch Airlines (, began passenger service in 1919. With its headquarters in Amsterdam, Holland, today it is the fourth-largest airline in Europe and operates a wide range of international and European services through its hub in Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam.

KLM has various affiliated companies, such as KLM Cityhopper (KLC) which operates under the KLM code. Copa Airlines and KLM have formed an extensive commercial alliance that offers code-share connecting flights through the Hub of the Americas in Panama City and the KLM hub in Amsterdam to cities throughout Latin America, Europe, Africa and the Middle East.


Since August of 2005, Copa Airlines and GOL Linhas Aéreas Inteligentes S.A. (, two of the leading companies in Latin American aviation, have begun a commercial partnership. The agreement signifies important benefits for the combined passengers of both companies, since it facilities more flight and connection options between Brazil and the Copa Airlines Hub of the Americas in Panama.

Initially, the commercial alliance has focused on connecting flights operated by GOL between Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo with flights operated by Copa Airlines between Sao Paulo and Panama. Subsequently, the companies have worked to widen the scope of their cooperation to more destinations in Brazil and Latin America.

Copa Airlines and Cubana de Aviación (, maintain an important code-share agreement for flights operated by Copa Airlines between Panama and Havana.
