Getting or buying Insurance with CHUBB

CHUBB will take care of any eventuality covered by your policy; you are supported by a network of specialists who will assist you. Example of some situations that can be solved by Travel Insurance and assistance:

Frequently asked questions

1. What to do in case of an accident?

Contact the Assistance Center at the number listed on your policy or +507 366-1463 (operator for collect call) or by e-mail to chubbtravelinsurance.pa@chubb.com. Always have policyholder information and the insurance certificate number.

2. What to do if you have an emergency and you cannot contact the assistance center?

Call the local emergency phone in the country you are in (911 or equivalent). Once the emergency is presented, contact the Operations Center to report it. If applicable, you must pay the expenses, and once back in your home country, upon submission of invoices, the insurer will pay the reimbursement applicable to the general conditions of hedges arranged.

3. What to do in case you pay for assistance and fail to report it to the Assistance Center?

In this case, you must keep the original invoice of the service and submit the complaint to the insurer, at the numbers that are shown on your certificate.

4. What to do if you receive bills from a medical center for foreign assistance provided?

In some medical centers from different parts of the world, it is common to send invoices notifying both the patient and the insurance company. If you receive communications or bills from a hospital, doctor or clinic, you should contact the Assistance Center.

5. What are the telephones which you can call when service assistance is required, depending on the country where you are?

The telephone numbers are declared on the insurance policy certificate received via email. For the rest of the world, you may request a collect call to the number +507 366-1463, where someone will assist you in your language.

6. How do I sign up in a medical center if I'm asked to fill out forms?
