Discovering Guadalajara

  • Admiring the architecture: Visit the Cathedral of Guadalajara, a stroll through the Liberation Square or attend an event at the Degollado Theater.
  • Regional Crafts: If you have some time go to Tlaquepaque, a small town dedicated to the craftsmanship of clay and blown glass. In Tonalá you will find workshops of clay, blown glass, and painting. You can also tour the markets of the city, where crafts are also offered.
  • Tequila: The region of Jalisco where this famous drink is made is not far from Guadalajara, take a tour of some of the haciendas and learn about the manufacturing process.
  • Forest or beach?: Take a tour of the Magic Villages of Jalisco, such as Mazamitla, Tapalpa, Tequila and Lagos de Moreno or enjoy some of the beaches a couple of hours from the city like Puerto Vallarta or Manzanillo.
